In addition, new 4.054-Km. road course configuration so called NASCAR circuit at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez will be raced on for the first time.
Also, Mexican Stock-car Series Desafio Corona will have its 2005 season opener sharing the scene with an International Series such as NASCAR Busch Series.
Likewise, this weekend will be entertaining for everybody inside and outside the race track. The schedule for this Friday begins at 8:15 a.m. with a Grand-Am Series Prototype running around the track. Later at 8:30 in the morning, powerful NASCAR Busch Series stock-cars will go out on a road circuit, for the first time since 2001 at Watkins Glen, in the United States. This will mark their first practice in Mexico and the first practice session for a NASCAR points-event outside United States.
At noon, Desafio Corona stock-cars will start practicing for their season-opener. Then, at 1:15 in the afternoon, the 51 entries will be available for the official event’s photo for the first points-event outside United States.
At 2 in the afternoon, Desafio Corona resumes its on-track activity, following second NASCAR Busch Series practice session commencing at 15:30 hrs. wrapping up track activity for the day, with a second demonstration around the track with the Grand-Am prototype.
During the weekend, there will be several bands and artists that will be playing and singing at the Concert Forum, joining them the Automaticos, and Los Amantes de Lola, the latter to be confirmed.
In addition, during the race weekend at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez other different artists and bands such as Pacifico Fly, Ek’s, SBS, Dildo, La Tremenda Korte, Chio, Lu and popular Elefante group will be performing, too.
On Sunday, all people with a paid-ticket for Grandstand 4 will be allowed into the autograph session from 10-11 a.m. with all the participants in the Telcel-Motorola Mexico 200 Presented by Banamex that will be held starting from 2 p.m. that historic day.
