PATY MANTEROLA TAKES OVER MEXICO CITY´S STREET ABOARD A NASCAR
The actress and speed fanatic, Patricia Manterola, drove a powerful NASCAR Busch Series car out to Reforma Ave. in Mexico City at 12:00 o’clock, to give a little taste of what the Autódromo Hnos. Rodríguez will offer next March 5 and 6.

The car started out in front of the National Auditorium, where lots of fans gathered around to see the commemorative car, it was driven for almost an hour and surrounded the Angel of Independence twice, witnessing fans were breathless.

Patricia, named “Honoris Cause Champion” of the Telcel-Motorola 200 presented by Banamex, commented excited after she drove the conmemorative car “I’m really happy to be given the chance to drive this car through Mexico’s most important street, I consider myself a great motor sport fan and this was really special for me”. said Manterola

“NASCAR is going to be a quite impressive event, something never before seen in Mexico, and I invite everyone to come to the track, its going to be an experience you’ll never forget”,
said Manterola.

Renato Herrera from OCESA, responsable of today’s car trajectory and race promoter pointed out “We are really excited that Paty accepted our invitation, her presence is really valuable and today fans witnessed the car going through Reforma Ave. imagine seeing 43 of these cars at the same time on the track”.

 

Finally Federico Alaman sports director of OCESA, gave his opinion about the festivities “the Public got a glimpse of the magnitude of the NASCAR event, these cars are really special, we are grateful with the authorities and with Paty Manterola with today’s achievements”.
