NEXT JANUARY 12 NASCAR WILL TEST NEW TRACK IN MEXICO CITY

Next Wednesday January 12 a team from the NASCAR Busch Series will officially test for the fist time the new Autódromo Hnos. Rodríguez 4.054 km layout, all this for the arrival to Mexico of the first scored international event of the most important serial in the US.

The NASCAR designated test driver will be announced shortly and its confirmed that this driver wont race during the March 6th event.

 

This test is to se how a Busch Series car develops in the new Autódromo Hnos. Rodríguez layout, since this layout presents two important changes to NASCAR, the first is a chicane at the end of the main straightaway and the second a new turn at the end of the second straightaway which ends at the beginning of the “eses”.

Along with the RACE team several of the principal NASCAR directives will also be in Mexico, whom have been really satisfied with OCESA’s work as race promoter and are really excited with the good response from the public, drivers and Mexican sponsors.
RACE Track visit: For all media interested in covering the construction advance on the track, you are invited this Thursday January 6th to the Autódromo Hnos. Rodríguez at 12:00 hrs through Gate N° 8 and meeting at the Control Tower.
