Next January 12 the American driver Jeff Burton, star of the NASCAR Nextel Cup as well as the NASCAR Busch Series, will make the first official NASCAR test in Mexico to evaluate the new Autódromo Hnos. Rodríguez 4.054 km layout.

Burton is one of the most versatile drivers in NASCAR, along his career he has participated with great success in the three NASCAR divisions, the Nextel Cup, the Busch Series and the Truck Series, having started more than 600 races and 37 wins


His Busch Series debut was in 1988, he won his first RACE in 190 at Martinsville, for 1993 he made his debut in the Winston Cup (now Nextel Cup) participating in a race he couldn’t finish, in 1994 he ran the whole season in the most important turismo cars series in the US and won his first rookie of the year award.
Last year Burton only ran 4 Busch Series races, making his best result in Darlington were he finished second, wile in Chicago he was third. In the Nextel Cup he ran the whole season, getting two fourth places in Dover and Bristol, finishing in the 18th position of the championship and earning over 3.5 million dollars in prizes.

Jeff Burton is known in the NASCAR paddock as one of the principal safety measures promoters, because of this his designation to test the track is more than appropriate.

Richard Childress Racing in one of the most successful in NASCAR, it has more than 100 victories in the three principal divisions, and amongst their drivers you can point out the mythical Dale Earnhardt.
