MICHEL JOURDAIN’S DEBUT IN THE NASCAR BUSH SERIES AT DAYTONA

The Mexican driver from the PPC Racing Team, Michel Jourdain Jr.will make his debut in the NASCAR Busch Series next February 19 at Daytona, in the first date of the season, instead of Fontana which was the original plan a week later

After his first race in the NASCAR West, where he finished 6 th after a great race, the NASCAR officials evaluated the situation and decided to let Michel race the first date in the 2005 season.

During his collective training a several weeks ago in Daytona and Las Vegas, Michel had real good results, always rolling with the fast group, these made NASCAR a lot more confident to speed up the paperwork for his debut.

After this announcement Michel commented “Its great news, I am really happy that NASCAR has seen with good eyes my progress. It will be really exciting to make my debut in Daytona where there is a lot of tradition and history. It’ll be a strong competition, since this is one of the most important races in the season and all the drivers will want to show off”.

Before the February 19 race, Michel will be evaluated again by NASCAR to continue measuring what he has learned.
