ONLY 43 DRIVERS WILL PARTICIPATE UN MEXICO´S RACE

NASCAR culture in our country is growing, last year with the birth of the Corona Challenge, it was the best and now on its homologation process to obtain NASCAR certification and continue its expansion.

Never the less the cars are visually similar, there is a great difference, for starters the horse power of a national stock car has 400 hp meanwhile a NASCAR has 660 hp at 7900 rpm. That’s why these cars are spectacular, obviously without making less our national cars, but Mexican drivers have demonstrated their quality in and out of Mexico.

Like we had mentioned before the case if the Mexican driver Jorge Goeters, whom surprised the NASCAR directives with his lap times when he was invited to the Autodromo Hermanos Rodríguez to drive his stock car showing he has the hands and the character for this, making his time difference amongst test driver Jeff Burton a second higher.

These cars are designed to race in ovals, speedways and super speedways, were the cars are studied and built to only turn left, having the team mostly working in a car for each one of the tracks they visit during the season. The hardest part is to set the car for that specific course, specially in road courses like the one taking place next March 5 and 6 in the Telcel-Motorola Mexico 200 presented by Banamex.

A great number of foreign drivers have inscribed for this commemorative date, thats why the mexican drivers will try and qualify to represent our country, the talented Mexicans will give everything, such is the case of the ones seeking to participate in the Telcel-Motorola Mexico 200 presented by Banamex of the NASCAR Busch Series.

Only 43 drivers will be cosen for the first Busch Seres race outside the US, and there will be some that sign until the same weekend the race is taking place, even though they are starting to confirm and negotiate with their sponsors.
