EUGENIO DERBEZ IS GOING TO BE AT AUTODROMO HERMANOS RODRIGUEZ THIS WEEKEND

Popular Mexican comedian Eugenio Derbez will be this weekend at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, during first NASCAR Busch Series event outside United States.

Derbez, who coincidentally was born the same day as NASCAR Busch Series Mexican driver Michel Jourdain Jr. (Sept. 2), will serve as Grand Marshall for the Sunday’s Telcel-Motorola Mexico 200 Presented by Banamex and also he will award pole winner, after qualifying session.

“I’m very passionate about racing and participate in this historical event is just amazing. I’ll see you this weekend at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez; it’s going to be a lot of fun. There will be a lot of bands and singers in the Concert Forum, in addition to the races that will mark a unique event in International motor racing history,”
Derbez said.

“I hope that a Mexican driver starts from pole and of course, the victory would go to any of our countrymen, though it will be hard, because there are a lot of experienced drivers such as [ Ron] Fellows and [ Boris] Said. However, Adrian Fernandez already showed that this is possible to achieve after Friday’s practice results,”
he added
